Multi-Currency System
How It Works
- The active currency is selected from the admin panel.
- All prices, invoices, coupons, Stripe checkout, and manual billing follow the active currency.
- There is no automatic currency conversion.
- Plan prices are stored per currency.
Switching the Currency
When you change the global currency from the admin panel:
- All displayed prices update to the selected currency.
- Invoices and billing screens follow the new currency.
- If a plan does not have a price for the selected currency, the customer will see: Plan not available in this currency.
Best Practice Before Switching
- Define plan prices for the new currency in the admin panel.
- Review coupons (fixed-amount coupons are currency-dependent).
- If using Stripe, ensure Stripe prices exist for the selected currency for new checkouts (based on your Stripe configuration).
Note
Since Paymery does not auto-convert amounts, switching currency does not transform existing numbers.
Always define explicit plan prices for each currency you want to support.
